Meet Linda Dall,
the inspiration for our 5k Bridge Walk team “Linda’s Lions”. A coworker, who is also a friend to all here at our office, Linda is once again mending from recent surgery and facing another round of chemo.
Mother of two and grandmother of three, Linda met the enemy of cancer over 20 years ago and won the battle. Since then, she enjoyed good health and led a vibrant fulfilling life. In January’08, cancer was again diagnosed. Surgery, chemo, and lots of prayers from family and friends brought another victory.
This time, a new facility in Geneva, Living Well Cancer Resource Center, offered many helpful programs and support for Linda and those caring for her. She says of Living Well, “The staff and volunteers are not only compassionate and caring, but they also have knowledge and ideas to help anyone going through these tough times. They offer helpful support and services for men, women, and children. It has been such a blessing to me and my family.”
While research is important and needs to be supported, Living Well Cancer Resource Center offers practical helps to those fighting the battle against this disease as they’re facing it
~ like Linda ~ head on!
That’s why our team from St. Charles Family Medical Center is walking ~ to raise awareness and money. All services are free of charge to the patients and their caregivers. And, those people are right here in our community ~ our families, our neighbors, and our friends.
